Please call before making plans, workshop dates sometimes will change or in some cases cancel.
Workshop format in general:
Teaching will place emphasis on developing the artist's own ability to take a painting from idea and concept through the selection of technique and approach to a finished piece of art. Individual attention will be given to each student to increase their level of understanding and confidence in the use of this medium. Some workshops may be held out of doors, weather permitting, giving the student the opportunity to experience the benefits and challenges of painting in this manner. One-on-one instruction is normal along with critiques, demonstrations and guidance tailored to the students varying degrees of ability. All levels of experience are welcome, however some knowledge of the medium is necessary. Students should bring a bag lunch. A materials list will be sent, upon request. Or feel free to call me personally for a "tweaking" of your materials.
