This particular location on Deer Isle, Maine is a bit isolated (if Deer Isle itself is not already) and at the end of a road. The spot has proven to be productive for my paint brushes since I have not only painted this but two other paintings and a fourth will soon be on the easel. All by simply turning in a 360 degree circle.........now that's a place rich in subject matter! This small reach of land jutting off Deer Isle is appropriately named Sunshine.
