The Butler Institute of American Art
I really hated to have to cancel showing at the Butler. Everyone at the Butler was fantastic.....from Jack Haims the director of the show to the folks helping us set up, everyone was so nice. Reason for canceling???
I am needing more studio time. Hopefully this will result in a few more originals at the other shows.
The Butler show is kind of right in the middle of my serious studio time and it took almost three weeks or more of my time to get ready, participate in and then fill orders from the show.

Tips on attending Fort Days........
I feel as though Friday is the best day. All vendors have full stock. The show, while very busy if the weather is nice, is not as crowded as it can be on Saturday when the parade is scheduled. Sunday, although it can be more relaxed, runs the risk of your favorite vendor not having that "something special" because it was sold on Friday or Saturday.

Tips on attending the Home and Garden Show
Weekends can be very busy and sometimes uncomfortably crowded, so if it is possible to attend during the week (Tuesday through Thursday) do it. All the vendors and displays are the same, the pace however is much less hurried making your visit much more enjoyable.
If you must make the weekend .....come when the doors open to try and beat the crowd.

The Peoples Choice Festival
Boalsburg, PA ....held at the Pennsylvania Military Museum parade grounds, just about three miles from State College, PA
This is a very large well attended show with approx 170 vendors.
Easy to get around this large open field. Vendors are set up in a huge circle
