Having just moved from my home/studio that had been located in Pittsburgh, it was a refreshing change for my wife and I to relocate into the country. Anyone who has ever moved knows how daunting it can be but to do that and, at the same time, try to keep ones creative side running can be a bit much. In between trying to rehab an old farm house and create a studio space in an old spring house I found a chance, just after a snow storm, to explore our new territory. This old covered bridge, one of two, in Mingo Park, Nottingham Township, PA is no more than fifteen minutes from our new/old farm house and was one of the first paintings I completed in my studio.
