Looking East

How many views of the hills behind my studio I will paint, I do not know.  If not the sun light on the grass, it's the trees, if not the trees, maybe a beautiful formation of clouds playing on the horizon as was the case here.  The sun was finishing its usual play of light on the hillside, which is always stunning but then, couple that with this bold cloud gathering ....and I had to paint this one.  Summer can be a little boring, sometimes for the artist, with all the same greens going on.....then God throws this in the sky!!
