The fields surrounding our old farm house continue to inspire me to paint them. This view is in a field just adjacent to my one acre of property and I am looking northwest....it's getting later in the day and the field was in shadow save for these tips of field grass. This only had five more minutes and it was gone so I made a mad dash to the house to get my camera for a reference photo. This was a bit much to be painting from memory. The sounds that day matched the view....quiet. I liked that.
