Being sympathetic to my means of income there has been only on painting that my wife, Kriss, has ever asked me for..... this one.
I gave it to her. You would have to ask her as to which particular chord it stuck so as to have made the request. The scene is actually a composite consisting of the memories I had from years past while painting on the small island in Lake Erie called Middle Bass, where there were grand old summer homes and the beautiful vintage Victorians in the costal town of Searsport, Maine. Couple that with some of the fog banks that I have witnessed along the coast of that state and this was the result.
